Can:Do 4Kids offers specialist, early intervention group therapy programs for babies and children who are deaf or hard of hearing and their parents/​caregivers.

Tiny Tots (0-18 months) Tuesdays 10am-11am at Hindmarsh. 

Connect with other parents and caregivers of babies and young children who are deaf or hard of hearing.


Music Matters (18 months-2.5 years) Tuesdays 11.30am-12.30pm at Hindmarsh. 

Expand your child’s experience of music to include learning of rhymes, songs, movement to different rhythms, exploring instruments and dramatic play. Music Matters is structured around routine and repetition, which allows children to feel confident in their skills and predict each song pattern and style. This allows for development of vocabulary and acquisition of Learning to Listen Sounds as they are integrated into songs and rhymes about that theme. 


Talking Buddies (2.5-5 years) Thursdays 11am-12.30pm at Hindmarsh

Talking Buddies has a specific focus on speech and language goals. Children can engage in painting, construction, play-dough, cooking, reading, song and rhyme, imaginative play, puzzles, water play and other learning mediums.The second half of each session brings the children together in a small group for a shared story around the theme of the week. Each child is given a copy of the week’s book so that they can take the book home and share it with their caregivers, reading it repeatedly.


Sound Hounds (4-6 years) Fridays 11am-12pm at Hindmarsh *Term 1 and 2 only*

Sound Hounds supports children to build their phonological skills before starting school.


Bright Start (4-6 years) Fridays 11am-2pm at Hindmarsh *Term 3 and 4 only*

Bright Start is a government funded transition to school program for children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Parents/caregivers do not stay with their child for Bright Start sessions. There is no cost for children to attend Bright Start.

Can:Do 4Kids group therapy programs focus on speech and language development, social skills, peer connections and family support. Sessions are facilitated by Listening and Spoken Language Specialists with support from Allied Health professionals.
