Music Matters

Tuesdays 11.30am-12.30pm at Can:Do Hindmarsh

Toddlers (ages 18 months-2.5 years) including children who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, have low vision and/or developmental delays.

Music Matters is structured around routine and repetition, which allows children to feel confident in their skills and predict each song pattern and style. This allows for development of vocabulary and acquisition of Learning to Listen Sounds as they are integrated into songs and rhymes. Month-long themes allow for practise and repetition, allowing the child to become familiar and confident to participate with the actions, instruments and props independently and for parents to consolidate their own learning of new songs which can then be incorporated into everyday routines and experiences.
