Monique Beckwith
Project Support Officer - CSWD
Hi, I’m Monique.
As the Project Support Officer for Children and Students with Disability (CSWD) at Can:Do 4Kids, I am passionate about supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing children in educational settings.
I am fluent in Auslan, have advanced proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), and hold an RRHAN-EC qualification. (To save you a Google search, that stands for: Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care.)
From here, my goal is to pursue a Bachelor of Education, followed by a Master of Special and Inclusive Education with a focus on Deaf Studies and Deaf Education, to become a Teacher of the Deaf.
I absolutely love my team and colleagues at Can:Do 4Kids! They’re such a supportive and fun group to work with. One of the highlights of my day is sharing laughs over their good jokes—it really creates a positive and uplifting workplace environment.
Outside of work, I love playing National Water Polo and spending quality time with my partner, our two babies, and our two fur babies.
I also take great pride in my contributions as a volunteer across various sports clubs.
