Discipline Lead - Occupational Therapy

Hi, I'm Ali.

I joined Can:Do 4Kids in 2024 as the Discipline Lead in Occupational Therapy.

Since starting to practice as an OT in 2011, I have worked across a variety of settings and with a variety of clients; from seeing adults with neurological conditions in a hospital, to elderly people living in residential care, to kids in a special education school. I have, however, worked with children with different disabilities for the majority of my career.

Working with children, especially in more challenging areas such as emotional regulation, is an interest of mine. I also feel passionate about giving children a voice and power over their therapy journey.

Outside of work, I really enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, cooking, a little DIY and many other simple things.
