ONE OF OUR BIGGEST ASSETS
Volunteers form an integral part of our organisation and are undoubtedly one of our most treasured assets.
Volunteers' unwavering passion, dedication and boundless energy contribute significantly to a positive working environment for all to enjoy.
The donation of their time and expertise also allows CanDoGroup to reduce its administrative costs and channel a greater proportion of available fundraising dollars into children's services, making a real difference out in the community.
We can offer you many different volunteer opportunities, ranging from support in areas such as grounds and maintenance to administration, events, fundraising and community services, just to name a few.
HOW DO I BECOME A VOLUNTEER?
Anybody wishing to become a volunteer at CanDo Group (incorporating CanDo4Kids & Deaf CanDo) should register their interest.
There is a series of steps involved in the volunteer application process:
Firstly, you will need to complete some application forms
If you are considered to be a suitable candidate for your desired volunteer role, you will be asked to attend an interview with our volunteer coordinator and possibly also with the applicable department manager or supervisor.
Following the interview, the volunteer coordinator will contact you to advise whether you have been successful or not for your preferred role and to make the necessary arrangements. (This may take up to two weeks.)
If you are successful, we will make a time for you to meet with the volunteer coordinator and complete the induction process with your manager/supervisor and commence any applicable training.
